The long answer is this: The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 set maximum wattage requirements for the production of incandescent light bulbs to make them more efficient. This act effectively banned the manufacture and import of traditional incandescent light bulbs. However, there are exceptions, like rough service bulbs, outdoor and signage bulbs, and other less common types. Give us a call at 888-757-9591 or take a look at our selection here.
